KARACHI - A district and sessions court indicted four moneychangers on Thursday in a money laundering case. District and Sessions Judge Hassan Feroz read out the charges levelled by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) against the arrested moneychangers, namely Hanif Kalia, Abdul Munaf Kalia, Javed Khanani and Atif Aziz Polani.

SIALKOT - Gujranwala DIG Tariq Masood Yaseen has suspended 16 police officials in a fake encounter case. According to details, Motra Tehsil Police Station had killed Shahid, a resident of Gujranwala, in a fake encounter.

KARACHI - An anti terrorism court (ATC) on Friday handed down death sentences to four men charged with kidnapping a minor boy for ransom.

HANGU - Taliban militants killed four alleged robbers, calling them members of a criminal gang, Hangu police said on Tuesday.
According to police, the bodies were recovered from Sarkadana area and the Taliban claimed the responsibility for the killings.
