ISLAMABAD - The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Thursday raided the house of former religious affairs minister Hamid Saeed Kazmi after a local court issued his arrest warrants. Senior Civil Judge Muhammad Alam Gondal issued Kazmi's arrest warrants after the Supreme Court ordered legal action against the former minister on FIA's stance that there was enough evidence of his involvement in the Haj scam. FIA to move LHC today to get PO status for Moonis
ISLAMABAD - The FIA will move the Lahore High Court today (Tuesday) to get Moonis Elahi declared a proclaimed offender (PO) for his alleged involvement in the multi-billion rupee NICL scam. LAHORE - Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has completed all necessary requirements to bring back Moonis Elahi, son of former Punjab chief minister Pervez Elahi, and prepared a red-warrant for his arrest.
Sources in the FIA said the security agency would soon contact Interpol to seek Moonis' arrest. Moonis is accused in the NICL land scam, however the PML-Q had said Moonis was being framed in fake cases and he would comeback and face the courts soon.

LAHORE - The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Friday included the name of Moonis Elahi, son of former Punjab chief minister Pervaiz Elahi, in the watch list and alerted immigration staff of all airports to arrest Moonis on his arrival.
Moonis Elahi is allegedly involved in the National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) land scam. Sources in the FIA confirmed that Moonis was expected to reach Pakistan on Friday from the UK through flight number EY-241 of Etihad Airlines.
