Bata FC advance in Raiders Cup
LAHORE - Bata Football Club outkicked Manga Mandi's Quaid FC 3-1 to enter the pre quarter-finals of the All Punjab Raiders Football Cup at Raiders Club Ground, Faisal Town. Manga Mandi were the first to score through striker Saif Shah in the ninth minute. But Bata FC neutralised the lead in the 33rd minute from winger Umer Niaz. GWADAR - At least two security personnel embraced martyrdom and five received injuries when remote-controlled bomb planted on a bicycle exploded in Jannat Bazaar area of Gwadar on Tuesday. The FC convoy was targeted on the Gwadar Seaport Road.

QUETTA - Two local leaders of the Baloch Students Organisation-Azad were killed during a search operation by Frontier Corps Balochistan in Totak area of Khuzdar district, around 360kms south of Quetta on Friday. QUETTA - An official of the Balochistan Frontier Corps was killed and two others injured in an armed attack in Mastung district, 60kms south of Quetta, on Saturday.
According to Levies sources, some FC personnel were passing through the jungle area of Mastung along the RCD Highway when unidentified men opened fire on them.
As a result, three of them received bullet injuries, of whom, one Naeem later succumbed to injuries. The injured were identified as Younus and Tanveer.
