LAHORE - Punjab University (PU) administration is avoiding holding its 1686th syndicate meeting to decide the fate of those teachers that are facing corruptions charges, before the Academic Staff Association's (ASA) general elections scheduled to be held on January 13, Pakistan Today learnt on Tuesday.

According to details, a total of 13 candidates were in the race for eight seats of members to the committee of management. There are 300 members eligible to cast their votes in the Punjab Club. The voting continued for three days, with one hour every day.
