Palestinian dies after settler shooting

HEBRON - A Palestinian teenager shot by settlers near the southern West Bank town of Hebron died of his wounds overnight and mourners clashed with Israeli troops at his funeral on Saturday. Yusef Ikhlil, 17, was shot in the head on Friday and taken in critical condition to Hebron's Al-Ahly hospital where he was put on life support.

LAHORE - A woman, Munawar Bibi, died of shock on Wednesday after hearing about her brother's death in Tuesday's suicide bombing near Urdu Bazaar. Samanabad's SHO's gunman, Haji Tabdeel Hussain, was killed while he was on duty as at a police checkpost near Urdu Bazaar on Tuesday. Hussain's sister Munawar came to know about the death of her brother on Wednesday. She immediately fell unconscious and later died of the shock.

LAHORE - Pakistan's oldest surviving Test cricketer Mohammad Aslam Khokar breathed his last here at a local hospital after a prolonged illness. Khokar was a member of the touring side led by Abdul Hafeez Kardar on the historic tour to England in 1954.
