Edu Dept workers assured they will be regularised
KARACHI - Sindh Katchi Abadis and Spatial Development Minister Engineer Muhammad Rafique assured the protesting lower staff employees of the Education Department on Saturday that their issue would be resolved on priority basis. The minister told the employees, who were protesting outside the press club, he said that they would be regularised after the Sindh Assembly reviews the legal aspects for this purpose.

Prisons Dept completed 39 uplift schemes in 3 years

Tourism dept gets 1,000 acres of land
KARACHI - Sindh Board of Revenue's Land Utilisation department has provided 1,000 acres around the Keenjhar Lake in Thatta to the Sindh Tourism Department to promote tourism in the area.

Culture Dept acts against illegal construction of mosque
KARACHI: Following a protest campaign by the heritage enthusiasts, the Sindh government has taken notice of the illegal construction at the centuries-old historical mosque built in the times of Arab warrior Mohammad Bin Qasim in Aror Sharif near Rohri in Sukkur district.

Anti-corruption dept vows to eliminate corruption from Okara

All shrines sealed after the 'twin' suicide attacks at the city's patron saint Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi (RA)'s shrine were reopened after Sindh Home Department gave the green light.
"There are mosques in vicinity of most shrines. Those who want to offer prayers there were facing difficulties and that is why we have ordered to open them (shrines)," Sindh Auqaf Chief Administrator Manzoor Kanasro told Pakistan Today.
