QUETTA - A Hindu trader was kidnapped and killed by armed men on Sunday. According to police, Ramesh Kumar, a resident of Multani Muhalla was going to his shop when unidentified armed men intercepted him on Patel Road, held him up at gunpoint and then killed him when he tried to escape.

GUJRANWALA - A 25-year-old girl was gunned down for resisting a robbery to save her dowry late last night in village Fatehpur of Gakhar Police Station. Reportedly, five armed robbers entered the house of the late Muhammad Boota, took the whole family hostage and collected Rs 250,000, household valuables and gold jewellery.
