Pakistan clinch SAARC Baseball Cup

LAHORE - Pakistan beat Sri Lanka 8-2 to win the First SAARC Baseball Cup at the Punjab Stadium here on Sunday. Pakistan took the gold as they won all of their matches in the tournament. Sri Lanka won silver while Afghanistan won bronze.

ISLAMABAD - Results of a recent Gilani Poll conducted by Gallup Pakistan show that most Pakistanis are satisfied with their team's performance in the recently concluded Cricket World Cup, with a total of 50% rating the Pakistani team's performance as good or very good.

COLOMBO - Sri Lanka Cricket said Monday it is saddled with a $23-million-dollar debt after cost overruns and hefty bills incurred building stadiums for the recent World Cup.

LAHORE - Pakistan Railways added another feather to their cap when they annexed the All Pakistan Tehsil Municipal Corporation Football Cup at Toba Tek Singh.
