LAHORE - Punjab Club moved into the third round of the East Zone Cricket Championship after beating Gulberg Eaglets by 16 runs at Wahdat Colony ground on Monday. A fine century by Ali Raza and equally good bowling by Afzal Shehzad were the highlights of the match.

LAHORE - The second semi-final of the 26th M Yaseen Akhter Memorial Cricket tournament will be played between P&T Gym and Akhter Abdul Rehman Club on March 17 at Township ground.
The 20 overs match will start at 12:30 PM. Riffat Zaheer and Kaleem Asghar will be the umpires. Model Town Club have already qualified for the final.

LAHORE - A vigil was held outside the Lahore Press Club (LPC) on Monday to mark the Women's Day. KARACHI - Navy officials inaugurated a wastewater treatment plant at the Western Wind Golf Club at PNAD Mauripur on Wednesday. The plant has been designed and developed by the National Water Engineering.
