Punjab govt bars blasphemy accused from class B prisons

LAHORE - The Punjab government has formulated a new policy to bar entitlement of Class B prisons to those guilty of blasphemy and espionage among others to check the misuse of "discretionary" powers, Pakistan Today has learnt. Class nine students face problems as final exams start

LAHORE - Final examinations of class nine started from Monday but students continued to face problems including load shedding of 10 hours, Pakistan Today has learnt. Students are still facing problems because of the online system and parents and students are still visiting the offices of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) to rectify the problems in the roll number slips. Students claim that with advent of summers, they will face extreme problems during the exams.

KRL show class with rare double over KESC

LAHORE - KESC lost to KRL 0-1 in 234th match of the Pakistan Premier Football League at the People's Sports Complex, Karachi on Monday.
Both the teams completed 29 matches and KRL captured 57 points in comparison to KESC's 52. KRL also defeated KESC 3-0 in the first leg at Rawalpindi in October 2010.
The precious goal for KRL was scored by Chaman-born front runner Kalim Ullah in the 21st minute. This was his fourth goal of the event. Kalim is showing fine display for KRL
