Multan shopkeepers confront authorities during anti-encroachment drive

MULTAN: Shop owners in Multan confronted authorities during an anti-encroachment operation in the city.

Officials were carrying out an anti-encroachment operations in the the city’s Multan BC Chowk and had demolished a number of illegal buildings and shops when local shopkeepers and traders confronted them.

However, the operation was successful and approximately 21 kanals of land were recovered by the district authorities.
