Security has been beefed up in all the airports throughout Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa including Peshawar International Airport.
Additional squads of FC have been deployed on Peshawar International Airport, Chitral, D.I. Khan, Swat, Bannu Airports. These steps have been taken under the directives of the Defense Secretary.
Moreover, 30 personnel of special trained Airport Security Forces have been deployed at the air and ground sites of the airports in order to make arrangements of fool proof security while special check posts have been set up armed with machine guns.
