KARACHI: The Sindh government on Tuesday decided to change the curriculum across the province in order to adapt to the changing needs of today’s world.
Provincial Education Minister Syed Sardar Shah said that “the curriculum would be updated to include topics spanning culture, heritage, and life skills”.
“Children would also be educated about their rights,” he added.
The minister lamented that “at a time when the world is so technologically advanced, students in the province were still being taught the old curriculum up to Grade 12,” adding that “Sindhi should become a part of the curriculum”.
