Legal process underway to bring back looted money from abroad: Shahzad Akbar

ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Accountability Shahzad Akbar on Sunday said that legal process is underway to bring back looted money from abroad and agreements have been signed with different countries for this purpose.

Talking to a private news channel, he said that the government has information about the looted public money stashed in different countries, which would be brought back to Pakistan.

Shahzad Akbar said that it is a cumbersome process and would take time, however, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government would succeed in its endeavour.

He said that the government will continue the process of accountability and would disclose details about the looted national wealth of Rs700 billion in the next 50 days.
