KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Monday issued notice to Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) MPA Faryal Talpur in a case pertaining to alleged Rs90 billion corruptions in development projects of Larkana.
SHC’s Justice Muhammad Mazhar Ali approved the application for immediate hearing and issued notices for November 16 to Faryal Talpur, who is a sister of PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari.
The petition was filed by Bashir Abbas, who stated that Talpur did not submit her reply for a long time and hence the court should issue orders.
The court remarked that it would summon anyone if needed, however, the verdict will be announced on merit.
The petitioner further alleged that the funds of Larkana development schemes were also being sent abroad through money laundering. He had requested that fair investigation be carried out against accused.
