Pakistan U-15 football team beats India 2-1 after Kaka wishes them luck

BRAZIL: Pakistani football team beat neighbouring rival India in the opening match of SAFF U-15 championship after Brazil footballer Ricardo Kaka wished them ‘good luck’ for their endeavour.

In his video message, Kaka can be seen motivating the national football team to give their best in the game.

“Hello guys, I am Ricardo Kaka and I am here to wish you a very good luck in this tournament,” Kaka said.

“Pakistan national team U-15, God bless you in this tournament. Go, do your best in this tournament, try hard and I think you guys can achieve your dreams and make everybody that loves you very, very proud,” was his message to the Pakistan team.

He concluded his message by congratulating the green shirts on making it to the tournament and urging them to “do their best’”.

The 2018 U-15 SAFF championship features six Asian countries with host Nepal among others.

Initially in group A, Pakistan was later sent to group B with defending champion India and Bhutan after Sri Lanka withdrew from the event.

Following the victory over its arch-rival India, Pakistan will now take on Bhutan on October 27 at the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) stadium in Lalitpur.

2018 SAFF championship marks the fourth entry of Pakistan football team in the said tournament.
