Abdul Wali Khan university’s former administration misappropriated a major chunk of the Rs80 million allocated for the construction of an academic block in the institute’s Buner campus between 2016- and 2017, a local media outlet reported on Saturday.
Construction work on the new academic block has been halted since March last year.
According to reports, the official responsible for the misappropriation left the university and joined Pak-Public Works Department, Islamabad.
