In a video that went viral on social media, a traffic warden can be seen moving ‘illegally’ parked motorcycles aside to give way to the protocol of Federal Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed.

The warden is telling people to clear the way quickly and tries to push the bikes to the side following which he throws down a couple of them.

Seconds later,  Sheikh Rasheed’s convoy appears on the road. The minister opens his car’s door and leans out to tell the citizens, “I respect you out of courtesy otherwise I can get these bikes removed.”

Addressing the minister, the warden said, “Sir, I tell these people every day [not to park illegally], adding he today he pushed the bikes down out of frustration.

Warning the citizens once more, Rasheed said, “Not even a single bike will be here if I want.”

Upon this, the citizen appreciates Rasheed’s comments and said that is a good thing as they themselves want these bikes to be removed from the road. “These bikes must be removed,” the citizen emphasised.

The warden was suspended and an inquiry was ordered against him by Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Muhammad Bin Ashraf.

The residents had protested against the warden’s behaviour pertaining to knocking over motorcycles.
