KATHOR: An oil tanker was set on fire on Friday in Kathore, critically injuring the driver who was seated in the cabin.
According to reports, the tanker was set on fire by unknown suspects.
The driver is being treated for burns at a hospital and is in critical condition.
The contractors association head Babar Ismail said that oil supply has been temporarily suspended due to unsafe circumstances.
Senior superintendent police (SSP) Malir said an investigation into the event is underway and a bomb disposal squad has been directed to probe the incident.
