Three men allegedly rape 11-year-old boy in Taxila

TAXILA: An 11-year-old boy was sexually assaulted by three men in Taxila’s Muslim Colony, police said on Friday.

According to Taxila Station House Officer (SHO) Chaudhry Riaz, following the registration of a complaint by the victim’s father, the three suspects were arrested during raids at their homes. He added that medical examination proved the 11-year-old was raped.

In the complaint, the victim’s father alleged that his son had gone to a nearby mosque on Thursday afternoon but was kidnapped and taken to the home of one of the accused and raped by the three men.

The suspects threatened to kill the boy before allowing him to leave, the father alleged. He added that the frightened boy told him about what happened after he reached home.

The SHO said that a detailed medical examination would be performed on the three suspects and they would be presented in court on Saturday.

An FIR was registered under Section 377 (unnatural offences) by the police after the suspects were apprehended.
