ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) has given a final notice to the ex-occupants in various family suites of Parliament Lodges to vacate the property.
Despite the fact that the new government is about to take charge, lawmakers from the previous tenure have not entirely vacated the allocated residences in the capital.
In a notification issued on Thursday, the CDA gave a final ultimatum to the ex-occupants who were still residing in the Parliament Lodges of Islamabad. “In the wake of non-compliance, the competent authority has decided to vacate these suites on 10-08-2018 (Friday) at 9am,” it reads.
The CDA said that the former occupants were given a time of 24 hours to vacate the property which was not followed. The authority requested assistance from the people “to counter any unpleasant situation or probable resistance” during the process of vacating the suites.
Also, the CDA team will be accompanied with police and sub-divisional magistrate from the ICT administration.
