ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) permitted an intra-court appeal on Wednesday of the federation against a decision of a single bench announced earlier in 2013.
The earlier decision entitled employees of the Federal Government to a 20 percent special allowance.
Employees of several departments such as Capital Development Authority, Federal Government College Teachers Association (FGCTA) and Pakistan Council for Science and Technology (PCST) submitted 23 petitions requesting the court to order a raise in their salaries by 20 percent.
The single bench had ordered that all the said employees were also entitled to the 20pc special allowance.
