MULTAN: Renowned Seraiki poet Shakir Shujabadi sustained injuries after his car met an accident near Basti Dad on Monday.
The car skidded off the road and fell into Alabad canal.
However, the locals evacuated the poet in injured condition and took him to Shujabad Civil Hospital for treatment.
He was released from the hospital after first aid treatment.
