As reported, the ICC may extend the ban of cricketer Amir if found guilty in breaking the terms of his suspension for turning up for Surrey Club in England. Amir says that he played for Addington against St Lukes in Surrey League as he was told that it was a friendly tie and not competitive one.
Amir seems to be justified unless the Surrey League and both the club teams were housed in some far corner of Africa where one could approach through Google only and that they would not know what all was happening around the world. How come the England and Wales Cricket Board and Surrey County did not know the match details and its implications?
One can only feel sorry for the ICC for their total bias and prejudice. Are they scared of this young lad so much that they would like to go for a life ban on him? We thought you believed in fair play and justice.
