LOS ANGELES: Justin Bieber was involved in a car crash when a Range Rover smashed into the back of his Mercedes.
Fortunately, the singer, 24, survived the smash which happened on Sunset Boulevard unscathed and was seen outside his fellow driver’s crushed-up vehicle shortly afterwards.
However, unlike a crash last year when the star accidentally mowed down a photographer with his pick-up truck when leaving a church service in Beverly Hills, this accident did not appear to be his fault on this occasion.
Justin had been returning home from the studio where he was spending time working on new music. Despite the crash, the drivers seemed to be friendly with one another.
One onlooker shared their surprise at seeing the star on the street. They posted to Twitter alongside a clip of Justin: “Just watched Justin Bieber get into a car crash. This is the epitome of living in LA.”
According to TMZ, an Onstar system – technology which can signal to authorities there has been a crash – alerted them to the West Hollywood accident.
The website also reports that police stood by the Canadian while he exchanged information with his fellow driver, however they didn’t take a report.
It is unclear whether Justin had been alone in the car, which he was able to safely drive off fairly soon after the crash.
Having sustained more damage, the Range Rover needed to be towed away.
