QUETTA: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Balochistan President Ali Madad Jattak on Tuesday said that the PPP would gather all as one nation under the party’s flag by ending hate in the name of Pashtun and Baloch in Balochistan.

Addressing a press conference here, he vowed that once in power, the PPP would end unemployment and raise salaries of government employees.

On the occasion, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Women Wing Leader Asma Awan, Malik Abrar and their supporters announced joining the PPP.

Secretary General Syed Iqbal Shah, Provincial Spokesperson Sardar Sarbaland Jogezai, Sakina Abdullah Khan of the Women Wing and others were also present.

“PPP is the only democratic party that has strong roots in all four provinces,” said Jattak.

“The party in the upcoming elections would form governments in all four provinces as well as the centre,” he said and added that it would then increase the salaries of employees, end unemployment and restore peace and order.

“Then PPP would foil Baloch, Pashtun, Sindhi and Hazara slogan raisers from the province and make the whole nation unite under the party’s flag,” he said.

Jattak also said that the misled youth of Balochistan would be brought to national mainstream and they would be invited to join the PPP for the province to progress and the country to strengthen.

Referring to the demarcation of constituencies, the PPP leader said that they were the right thing to do, however, there were objections that would be raised by the party.

Welcoming the newcomers, Jattak hoped that they would take measures in the better interests of the party.
