SHIKARPUR: An FIR was registered on Sunday against the Madeji station house officer and four other police officials on the orders of additional district and sessions judge of Shikarpur for injuring a villager in a “staged” encounter, according to a report by a private media outlet.

The judge ordered the registration of the FIR after receiving a complaint from Allah Buksh Jalbani, who accused police officials of injuring his son and registering a fake case against him after he refused to pay them a bribe.
