Pakistan’s Ambassador to Germany Shahid Kamal has said that there is a great demand of technical textile and non-woven products and businessmen should heed to the specialised sector to seize business opportunities available in Europe and other parts of the world.
According to a press release issued here, he was speaking to Pakistani businessmen who participated this year in the world’s leading Techtextil Trade Fair in Frankfurt. Three Pakistan firms participated in the fair. Kamal hoped that the next event in 2013 will see a substantial rise in participation with more companies realising the advantages including the wide range of technical textiles in their product range.
Earlier, the ambassador visited the information booth of Consulate General of Pakistan and took a round of the exhibition. He called on Frankfurt Exhibition Center Board Director Detlef Braun who briefed the ambassador on the various facilities being provided to the exhibitors to promote world trade. He assured that the Frankfurt Messe (Exhibition Center) would continue to support efforts of government to promote businesses in the global market.
Kamal thanked Braun for the support and cooperation extended to Pakistani exhibitors and for providing space to the Consulate General for setting up an information booth free of cost.
