LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has rejected an intra-court appeal seeking accountability of all named in Panama Papers.

The court has declared the appeal plea non-maintainable. Justice Ayesha A Malik of LHC took up the case for hearing on Friday.

During the course of hearing, petitioner Muhammad Ilyas took the plea that names of more than 300 people had appeared in the Panama Papers but no one except Sharif family was being held accountable.

The petitioner had prayed for the names of others persons to be put in ECL and appointment of NAB chairman declared null and void.
