PESHAWAR: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto said that he has never seen a man as immoral and wicked as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan.

Addressing a rally of supporters in Peshawar ahead of NA-4 by-poll, Bilawal alleged that Imran Khan wants to shift directly to the Prime Minister House from his residence in Bani Gala. He also said, “Where is the change that Khan is oft-quoted for,” he asked.

He also alleged that the PTI chief’s ‘billion-tree tsunami’ project did not yield anything except making Imran wealthier. “How can a man, who has no control over what he says, lead a profound nation such as Pakistan,” he added.

Bilawal went on to accuse the PTI chief of diverting the resources meant for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to Punjab. “Imran is hell bent upon coming into power at all costs,” he added.

He further went on say that if any real progress had been made, millions of people would have been employed and there would have been prosperity in the province. The PTI-led KP government did not set up a single hospital in the past four years, he added.

Taking a jibe at former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Bilawal said that he did not step down until the top court removed him from power. “Now the incompetent government of disqualified Sharif is deceiving people, and spending from the public exchequer to reestablish their image,” he added.

Bilawal also alleged that while masses are being pushed towards poverty, the government is propagating that the economy is making progress. He also asked his supporters to make a wise choice and elect the right man in the NA-4 by-election.

The Peshawar NA-4 constituency fell vacant after PTI’s MNA Gulzar Khan passed away in August. Various political parties are campaigning for the election scheduled for October 26.
