Punjab approves three uplift schemes worth Rs 9.5 billion

LAHORE: The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved three development schemes of Regional Planning, Education & Public Building Sectors with an estimated cost of Rs 9527.7 million.

These schemes were approved in the 23rd meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2017-18 presided over by P&D Chairman Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan.

The approved development schemes included: Southern Punjab Poverty Alleviation Project (SPPAP)-IFAD Assisted (Revised) at the cost of Rs 7565.780 million, Teacher’s Training Program at the cost of Rs 584.765 million and Construction of Training Laboratory at Punjab Forensic Science Agency, Lahore at the cost of Rs 1377.155 million.
