PARENTS URGED TO BUILD UP CHILDREN’S CHARACTER: District Coordination Officer (DCO) Nasim Sadiq has appealed to the parents to build up their children’s moral character and have a check on their activities. He said this after visiting Bagh-e-Jinnah and a number of public parks being used as dating venues for young lovers who get together there, against social values.
The DCO, accompanied by Parks and Horticulture Authority Managing Director Ashiq Dogar and PHA officials, toured the public places, targeted the young unmarried couples and warned them to refrain from such immoral activities.
The DCO said many boys and girls visited these parks instead of going to colleges and universities which reflected the poor values of our society. He directed the PHA authorities to have a check on these public parks and catch ‘Romeos and Juliets’ involved in immoral activities.
