BADIN: The fifth death anniversary of notable writer, poet and columnist Shamsher-Al-Hyderi was observed on Thursday at Badin Press Club.
The senior journalists, including Badin Press Club President Tanveer Ahmed Arain, Badin Press Club General Secretary Shoukat Memon, Abdul Majeed Mallah, Abdul Latif Zargar, Sawan Khaskheli, Anees-Rehman Memon, Imran Khawaja, Ashfaq Ahmed Memon, Allah Rakhio Naeem Mallah, Akhtar Shah, and others attended the event.
While addressing the participants, Tanveer Ahmed Arain lauded literary services of late Shamsher-Al-Hyderi.
He said that besides, being an acclaimed poet and writer of the Sindhi language, Shamsher-Al-Hyderi was also a renowned columnist and drama-writer as he authored over a dozen books which yet guides the youths of Sindh.
Shoukat Memon, paying rich tribute to the literary services of Shamsher-Al-Hyderi, said that he was an iconic figure of Sindhi literature who wrote several books, dramas, articles, columns and travelogues.
On the occasion, Abdul Majeed Mallah, Abdul Latif Zargar, Sawan Khaskheli, Anees-Rehman Memon, Allah Rakhio Naem Mallah and others also paid rich tribute and praised the author’s literary services.
