ISLAMABAD: During a meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Judges Appointment in the Superior Courts held on June 16, 2017, at the Parliament House, the committee considered the recommendations of the Judicial Commission of Pakistan for confirmation of three additional judges of the Sindh High Court in its June 12 meeting.
The committee agreeing with the recommendations of the judicial commission confirmed the nominations of Justice Rasheed Ahmed Soomro, Justice Arshad Hussain Khan and Justice Muhammad Saleem Jessar as the judges of the Sindh High Court.
The meeting was chaired by Senator Ilyas Ahmed Bilour and was attended by Senator Raja M. Zafar ul Haq, Senator Farooq H Naek, Ch Mahmood Bashir Virk, MNA, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, and Senate Secretary Amjed Pervez.
