Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif has said that hollow slogans are not effective in serving the public adding that dedicated efforts and hard work are the need of the hour . Baseless allegations will not deter him, added Sharif.
He said people who only focus on coming to power lack sincerity to work in the larger interest of the public. The CM stated people have a complete know-how of the leaders who have truly served them well. Shahbaz regretted that previous governments have caused serious losses to the country, plundering national resources ruthlessly. However, the PML-N government has guided the country on the road to progress and prosperity, he added.
Furthermore, he added that negative minded people have tried their utmost to create hurdles in public welfare projects. He hoped that the public would be able to denounce such people in the 2018 general elections.
