Government introduces reforms in education, health sectors, says info minister

Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has stated that the government has introduced reforms in education and health sectors to provide best facilities to the masses.

Addressing the media persons she said that Pakistan will achieve these objectives under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif.  She said that government has included the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in its national Agenda Vision-2025.

She said effective and concrete steps have been taken to counter terrorism and extremism in the country. She said that the government is working on the agenda to improve the educational system in the country where all poor students can learn. She said that two hundred buses have been provided to the schools of the Capital.

Later, Aurangzeb, after attending parents day function here at Convention Centre arranged by Roots School, told media-persons that Nawaz Sharif sees the future of Pakistan through the eyes of youth and the focus of his efforts and steps is to bring benefits to future generations.

Replying to another question, she said that all medical test reports of the prime minister had come clear and he was committed to fulfilling pledges before next elections in 2018.
