Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) Police Lahore on Wednesday claimed to have arrested 10 members of two dacoit gangs alleged to be involved incidents of dacoity, street crime and house robberies.
CIA Police also claimed to recovered Rs 1,150,000 in cash, two cars, one motorcycle, 12 cellphones, laptops, computers, gold ornaments, six pistols and bullets from the possession of arrested accused who confessed to 29 cases of dacoity, street crimes and robbery during preliminary interrogation.
According to the details, a team under the supervision of Incharge CIA Model Town Muhammad Fayyaz collected the particulars of the accused and arrested 10 members of them. The arrested were identified as Muhammad Nazim, Ahsan Khalid, Muhammad Azeem, Muhammad Saqialin, Adnan Hanif, Muhammad Nasir, Wajid Ali alias Commando, Muhammad Sajid alias Majhu, Mudasar Hafeez and Muhammad Sabir.
The accused have history-sheets and 29 cases had also been traced against them in different police stations of city metropolis. Capital City Police Officer (CCPO), Muhammad Aslam Tareen announced cash prizes and commendatory certificates for the police team.
