Pakistan were 70 for two at the close and trailing Australia by 419 runs on the third day of the day-night first Test at the Gabba on Saturday.

At stumps, Azhar Ali was unbeaten on 41 with veteran Younis Khan facing 19 balls without scoring.

The highest winning run chase in the fourth innings at the Gabba stands at 236 for seven by Australia, but Pakistan will have to go well beyond that just to survive with two days left.
