OPC HELP EXPAT WOMAN TO RETRIEVE LAND OCCUPIED BY BROTHER

The land has been retrieved from the illegal possession of a brother as a result of the efforts made by the Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC), Punjab.

The land has been handed over to an American based overseas Pakistani lady named Kausar Parveen Sherazi.

The Commissioner OPC Afzaal Bhatti informed that the Pakistani origin American citizen, Kausar Parveen Sherazi filed a complaint to OPC that her younger brother has grabbed the property belonging to her and three other sisters, Musharaf Batool, Sobia Yousaf and Saeeda Akhtar in Mahal Rakh Yal Wala, District Muzaffargarh.

Afzaal Bhatti told that the OPC referred the case to the District Overseas Committee, Muzaffargarh and by collective efforts of OPC and District Committee land was retrieved from the illegal possession of their brother Mansoor Jafri, who was also receiving the rent from the said property for the last one year. A commissioner OPC further said that the OPC is vigorously pursuing the cases of overseas Pakistanis, and expatriates can contact OPC for a resolution of their problems.
