Twenty-eight people, including terrorist facilitators and proclaimed offenders, were arrested on Wednesday during a search operation here.
District Police Officer (DPO) Sohaib Ashraf said that the police and intelligence agency personnel conducted a joint operation against the militants in various areas of Razar tehsil of Swabi.
The officials arrested 28 including nine of terrorist facilitators, four proclaimed offenders (POs) and 15 other suspects after some minor resistance.
Arms were recovered from the possession of the detainees, and further investigations and their interrogation are under way.
