Inspector General Police Islamabad has formed a committee comprising of 5 senior police officials to probe the matter and allegation of talking bribe from check posts of capital involving operator of Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Sajid Kiyani who has been temporarily suspended till investigation concludes on order to ensure the transparency inquiry on merit.
Committee comprises of Deputy Inspector General (AIG) Head Quarter Altaf Hussain Khattak, AIG Establishment Suleman, AIG Headquarter Kashif Alam, SP CIA Captain Illyas and SP City Sheikh Zubair. It is worthy to mention here that this matter was highlighted by the media. However, the IG directed the committee to investigate the matter as soon as possible.
