Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has decided to increase the stipend of paper marking staff including examiners and head examiners up to 100 per cent.

BISE Chairman Professor Chaudhry Muhammad Ismail, while talking to APP on Sunday, said the new package of incentives would be implemented after being approved by Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.

He said with an aim to improve the examination system, state-of-the-art modern marking centres would be established in different colleges. He added the BISE also decided to introduce one window system at the office to redress the complaints of students in an efficient manner.

The BISE chairman said special enquiry committee still working on the complaints of students in recent marking of intermediate examination and re-checking would be completed very soon.

He said protests were staged through a planned conspiracy by some elements in private sector institutions that were jealous of the good results of government institutions.
