Recently, the Chiniot police beat a young criminal naked in front of TV cameras. This is an act which is above the law and needs to be condemned. The IG Punjab must take action against the responsible police officials. Wearing a uniform does not mean a licence to beat criminals under custody.
Such incidents occur only because these police officials know that they wont get caught and wont face any disciplinary action.
