The recent “Lota pandemonium” in Punjab Assembly is akin to rubbing salt to the wounds of the people of Punjab. If the opposition has a case against Mr. Shahbaz Sharif, than it must move a vote of no confidence against his government inside the Assembly. If they are short of requisite numbers than they can plead there case in the streets of Punjab.
Politics of principle have been in short supply in Pakistan and the Punjab Assembly and its recent political charades have been testament to that. The farcical activities going on in those hallowed halls are shameful and I hope that these politicians can find respect for the mandate of the people that has been entrusted to them.
