We are a silent nation, we do not believe in raising our voice against injustice. We think that until and unless something is not hurting us, it is all right. The situation has deteriorated pretty much and it is due to the fear inside us that has made us quiet. This has not only increased the frustration but gradually expends the positive energy within the youth. A new campaign launched by a telecom company is a very commendable step in evoking the youth to stand for their own rights and speak up against the wrong acts. It is the need of the time and the message behind is very clear: wake up now before it is too late!

Two different ads are being aired. One is against the booti culture or the cheating which is quite common, whereas other one shows the parchi culture of reference and contacts to secure a job. The timing for the ads is right as the board exams are around the corner and the cheating will be at its peak. The students who work hard feel resentment and discouraged at the careless attitude of the invigilators who let this happen. Competent people cannot come forward due to the plague of parchi system. It depicts the true sentiments of the people who are affected with this kind of situation. When you see the inequality and injustice, you really want to scream.

A single drop of water cannot make a sea but it sure can be as beginning for many more to follow. These ads have provided a platform where the young people may gather and break the norm which has rotten the roots of our nation. It maybe a small step but first step is all that matters towards achieving a goal.
