Children are the future of Pakistan. But child begging in Pakistan is increasing day by day. It has become a profession in all parts of our country including educational institutes, parks, busy markets and even in the public transport. A large number of our beggars are children under the age of 10 years. They mostly request necessities such as money, food and clothing when they should be playing with toys, learning to read and write. As they have nothing, they are forced to begging and collecting garbage.
Beggars are masters of human psychology. They know how to manipulate and spur emotions to get maximum amount of money from people. They are professional beggars as they it for a living.
The people giving them money should avoid it. If you really want to help someone, look around your own family, neighbourhood, friends and you will certainly find someone who deserves your help more than these professional beggars.
The government should take steps to control this problem and provide necessary facilities to these innocent children so that they may also get education and earn a living through their hard work and knowledge.
