We are used to making fun of our politicians for their not so good English speaking abilities, which they frequently show at different places. But our politicians are much better than many others. The Indian Foreign Minister S M Krishna was so absent minded at the United Nations Security Council that he couldnt recognise what he was reading. He mistakenly read the speech of his Portuguese counterpart.
Krishna was holding the speech of Portuguese official to whom he was talking to before his speech. Some other Indian official recognised the mistake and informed him of his mistake. He then apologised and started reading the Indian speech.
This scene became a laughing stock on various channels and social websites but thank God that speech was replaced by Portugals and not with Pakistans; the Indian media might have found ISI involved in this debacle.
