Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) Chief Mahmood Khan Achakzai on Thursday said regarding his previous statements of his criticism of intelligence agencies in the wake of the Quetta suicide attack that whatever he said has been said on the floor of the parliament.

Talking to Pakistan Today Editor Arif Nizami on his show DNA on channel 24, he said that National Assembly speaker didn’t interject while he was giving his statement and neither was his words omitted at any point.

He added that he feels that that Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan hasn’t heard his speech clearly.

Achakzai said that he gave an interview to an American radio show, but a Kabul-based newspaper printed the news wrongly.

“Whatever I said had its perspective and if it can be proven that it had a double meaning then I’m willing to apologise,” said Achakzai referring to his statement and the confusion surrounding it.

Achakzai said that he owns what he said and everything can be thoroughly investigated if the need arises.

He added that enemies of the state are gathering against Pakistan and the people of the country would have to unite to thwart their plans.

Talking about terrorism, he said late Benazir Bhutto was assassinated, a thorough investigation should be carried out into this and the ones involved should be exposed.

“A commission or committee can be formed to probe into my statements,” Achakzai concluded.

  1. ………………..he said that National Assembly speaker didn’t interject while he was giving his statement and neither was his words omitted at any point………………….
It is not what he said but what he did not say. The speaker did not interject nor were his words omitted because the speaker was aware of the fact that it was ventriloquist Nawaz Sharif speaking through the obnoxious mouth of a bald human garden gnome. The speaker is just as guilty as the puppet who delivered such odious speech. Had he been impartial and acting in accordance with the rules, he would have withdrawn the microphone.
