There is no one in the world who ignores the importance of justice for the sake of peace, stability and the progress of any society. There is long list of thinkers and philosophers who have evaluated the importance of justice in any society. It’s very clear that no country can make progress without justice. It is the basic need of the day to provide justice to people without discrimination of cast, creed and race. Every country of the world has judicial system. Pakistan has also a complete judicial system. Pakistani judicial system starts from lower courts, the court of magistrate to Supreme Court of Pakistan.

A person who is under trial can move from one court to another. For justice he has right to appeal in High Courts and then in Supreme Court. There are lawyers who help him in his case. There are “Sharia Courts” too which are based on the Islamic laws.

Unfortunately, there is rampant corruption in our judicial system. It is governments responsibility to eradicate all these evils. It is necessary to make this system clean. A powerful and independent judicial system cannot be affected by corruption and other malpractices. Lawyers are struggling hard to make this system clean and pure. They want to get rid of the PCO judges who were actually loyal to the dictator. An independent judicatory plays pivotal role in the progress of every country. This is a fact which everyone must know and follow. We must focus on the importance of judicial system so that awareness about law can be spread to the public.
