These days, despite severe cold wave prevalent in the country, political temperature is very high. Where the present government is not leaving any stone unturned in protecting the democracy, there are some political parties and anti democratic forces desirous of weakening the roots of democracy.
The MQMs recent decision of sitting on the opposition benches manifests its regional approach instead of national one. On the other hand, its a sign of hope that other political parties like PML(N) and PML(Q) realise the value of democracy and are not taking any haphazard steps to derail the government and are going with the wave of strengthening the parliamentary democracy.
In this regard, looking up to the Americans by some anti democratic people that they should indulge themselves in ousting president and putting our house in order is the sign of anti nationalistic approach. Being a sovereign country we should put our own house in order and strengthen our institutions before asking for any outside help.
